Approaching a counsellor can feel daunting, so I’ll do everything I can to make the first step as easy as possible.
The best way to get started is simply to contact me by email or phone so we can have a brief chat about what you’re looking for from counselling at this time. If you'd like to take things forward, we can arrange a time to get together for an assessment session.
During the assessment session we’ll:
take a quick look at your past and also what's happening in your life at the moment
discuss what you'd like to acheive in therapy
check if I'm the right therapist for you. If we agree we could work well together, we'll discuss how often we'll meet, fees, cancelation policy, confidentiality and boundaries.
